The shirt is made of tightly woven, matte cotton with the right amount of stiffness: classic collar, deep V-neck, cuffs that can be rolled up on the forearm. The skirt is the complete opposite — heavy twill, solid black, and a very high waistband that rises just below the bust, instantly elongating your figure. On that waistband run three rows of trim and golden buttons, the only bright detail of the entire outfit. It falls wide to the ankle, with pockets hidden in the pleats.
